
Pre-64 Winchester Model 88 Lever Action Rifle
Serial# 142953A, .284 Winchester caliber. 22" barrel, good bore showing some erosion. The barrel has factory sights with a rear folding leaf and the front sight hood is missing. The top of the receiver has two extra holes and a Weaver side-swing scope mount has been installed. The stock has a 13 1/2" length of pull over a non-factory Pachmayr recoil pad and has detachable sling swivels. The very front of the forend has a hole for some unknown purpose. 95% blue with most of the wear on the triggerguard and lever. The stock has many light scratches with over 90% finish remaining. There is a small chip (1/4" long) missing at the rear of the receiver and the checkering is in very good condition.

*Curly Maple Full Stock Kentucky Rifle by Henry Leman
This rifle is 54" in overall length with a .38 caliber 37 3/4" octagonal barrel. The lockplate is simply scroll engraved and is marked "H.E. LEMAN/ LANCASTER PA", the barrel is marked "H. GIBBS/ LANCASTER PA". The stock has a checkered straight wrist and brass furniture with an oval patchbox. The forend has six engraved German silver morning star inlays and the left side of the buttstock has a cheekpiece. The rifle originally had double set-triggers, now it has one which functions normally. The lock and most of the barrel have a smooth dark patina, the breech with heavy pitting around the drum. The stock had a grain crack behind the wrist escutcheon through the lock screw escutcheon that has been glued and repaired with dowels. The stock shows light wear and relatively few handling marks on an old refinish and a proper wood ramrod is included.

Winchester Model 92 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine
Serial# 924261, .38-40 caliber. 20" round barrel, very good rifling with minor pitting, full magazine. The front sight has a replaced blade on the factory base and the rear is an adjustable folding leaf carbine sight. The gun has straight gripped walnut stocks with a carbine buttplate. The magazine tube has a stud for a detachable sling swivel mounted on a band, a second stud is mounted on the toe of the buttstock. The metal has an old reblue that is a mixed plum and gray on the frame with a few tiny dings, the barrel and magazine with 95% dark blue. The stocks have been nicely refinished and show no wear and only a light scratch and a few tiny blemishes. Made in 1923.

Winchester Model 92 Takedown Lever Action Rifle
Serial# 907770, .25-20 caliber. 24 1/4" barrel, excellent bore. The barrel has factory sights with a flat-topped elevator adjustable rear. The walnut stocks have a straight grip and a crescent buttplate. The receiver is gray and has scattered small patches of fine corrosion, the barrel and magazine have 75% blue evenly blending with plum and have light oxidation. The buttplate and forend cap have been reblued and show some flaking finish. The stocks show only minor blemishes on an oil refinish. Made in 1921.

*Winchester Third Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle
Serial# 235982B, .38-40 caliber. The octagonal barrel has been cut to 20 1/8", fair condition rifling with light pitting. The magazine has been shortened to 2/3 length. This has a blade front sight and a factory rear sight with an elevator. The tang has two extra screw holes for a sight. The straight gripped walnut stocks have a crescent buttplate. The brass cartridge elevator has a 1/8" diameter hole for some unknown purpose and the nose of the comb has been slightly altered. The metal is mostly smooth with a mottled gray patina, the dustcover is evenly pitted. The wood retains most of an old refinish that shows small dings and scratches and is a little undersized at the tangs. Made in 1888.

*U.S. Model 1879 Trapdoor Carbine
Serial# 163223, .45-70 caliber. 22" barrel, fair bore. This has a second type 1877 rifle rear sight and a low arch breechblock properly marked "US/ MODEL/ 1873". Most of the metal is plum and gray with a good deal of bright blue on the triggerguard bow. The buttstock is stamped "1908" on the left side and "3H/14" on the right. The stock has many scratches and dings with added finish but has not been sanded. {Ref., Flayd: 9A-373}

U.S. M1 Garand Semi-Auto Rifle by International Harvester
Serial# 4517002, .30-06 caliber. 24" barrel , excellent bore. Manufactured July, 1953. This M1 retains approximately 70% of an arsenal re-Parkerized finish that is somewhat faded. The markings are British proofed barrel with a crown over "BNP" (Birmingham); "HRA" rear sight knob and safety; "SA" OP rod, trigger assembly and bolt; "WRA" on the hammer. The stock was sanded long ago and restained leaving only the circle on the wrist visible from the firing proof. Both the stock and hand guards grade a strong very goods with some scars from field use. The LMR manufactured barrel is dated "7-53" with the import markings next to that.

Custom Remington-Hepburn Single Shot Target Rifle
Serial# 7547, .22 Hornet (this was originally a .32-30 and the barrel has been relined, have your gunsmith verify the caliber as the new caliber is not marked). 28" part round/ part octagonal barrel, excellent bore, marked "REMINGTON ARMS Co. ILION, N.Y.". The barrel has a ramp front sight and a sight blank in the rear sight dovetail. The barrel has four extra holes for target scope blocks and the tang has a Lyman folding aperture sight. The walnut stocks are replacements that have a large cheekpiece and rather folky carved fleur-de-lis at the frame with a little raised carving at the Schnabel forend and tail of the cheekpiece. The large Swiss style buttplate is made from brass and black stained hardwood. The action needs the spring for the thumb lever. The frame retains 10-15% case colors with the balance gray and age spotted, the barrel retains over 80% original blue. The stocks are in fine condition with only minor scratches.
